Features of the Combat
Board
- When you drag and
drop a monster onto the Combat Board, DMF will automatically
roll hit points (or use average if that's what you want)
and roll initiative. Don't slow down your game making these
dice rolls yourself!
- All of the combatants
are organized into round and initiative order.
- Rolls initiative
for players (if you want) so that combats start instantly
instead of waiting for the players to roll initiative and
waiting for you to sort your index cards.
- Make attack and
damage rolls for creatures. What's more exciting for your
players: Waiting for you to roll dozens of dice for the
attack and damage of that ancient red dragon or letting
the computer make all of those attacks and damages rolls
with one click of a button?
- Make secret skill
checks (Spot, Listen, Search, or any others you want) for
your players instantly without them knowing what is happening.
No more tipping off your players with "Everyone make a spot
check for me."
- Make Saving Throws
for everyone at once. Ten orcs caught in a fireball? No
problem with DMF!
- The Combat Board
show you all the essential information about all combatants:
Ability
scores, saving throws, attacks, damage, armor class breakdown:
It's all there!
- The Combat Board
can track durations. Guards showing up in 10 minutes? Acid
fog going to last for 6 more rounds? DMF tracks it for you
so you can concentrate on running the game.
- The Combat
Board can cast spells; making attack, damage, and spell
resistance rolls when needed. The Combat Board also tracks
how many spells a combatant has available.
