Where's Todd?
Those of you who pay close attention to the updates for DM's Familiar know that it's been a little while since the last release of an update. Rest assured that I haven't been resting on my laurels but instead have been very busy, albeit quietly, working on DM's Familiar.

What I have been working on is an UPGRADE to DM's Familiar. This will be a major, major upgrade to the program. New reference library items have been added, major overhauls to important screens have been completed, and new major functions have been added to the program. This is good, bad, and bad news.

The good news is that there will be a major upgrade to DM's Familiar which will have cool new features, be easier to use, and will make you a better DM.

The first bit of bad news is that this upgrade will come at a cost. I haven't yet decided on the cost but it will be significantly less than the purchase price. Anyone who has purchased after October 1st of 2002 will receive the upgrade for FREE. There will be no more free updates to the current program.

The last bit of bad news is that this new upgrade is not quite ready. The beta testers, bless their little creative hearts, keep coming up with great ideas for things that just have to be done. I am delingiently plugging away at this upgrade and the beta testers are doing a tremendous amount of work testing things out and making sure you'll like it once it's released. The update will be available soon but I'm not going to promise a date at this time.

Over the next several newsletters, I'll reveal bits and pieces of this upgrade so that you'll know what is coming and can keep the pressure on me to get it done!
